Dogs who enjoy our day training program, get the best of both worlds...access to our daycare services full of fun and safe play as well as customized training designed to meet your goals.
We welcome dogs of all breeds, sizes and problem behaviors, including (but not limited to):
- Pulling on leash
- Getting off leash control
- Fearful and/or aggressive behavior towards people or dogs
- Dog on dog social skills
- Barking or lunging on leash
Drop off your dog for a day of learning and pick up a pup who's better behaved from a day of training fun. You must have completed at least one private lesson to qualify for our day training service.

Don't have enough time to set aside for training due to a hectic work schedule or going out of town for a long period time? Let our trainers teach your dog!
Our board and train program is one of our more popular services. In this program, your dog will be living with a Sage Canines trainers in their home. Instead of you doing the all the work, our trainers build the foundation so you can be successful and have long-lasting results.
During your dogs stay, they will be practicing daily training exercises in real world setting and going on field trips to test their abilities.
Some things your dog will be learning:

- Polite leash walking
- Household manners

While your dog is living with us, you will have the opportunity to see your dogs training progress and practice in preparation for when Fido to comes home!

What is behavior modification?
Behavior modification training is used to help change a dogs emotional response to something in their environment. The reaction that is typically displayed in troubled dogs are aggression, anxiety, fear or even OCD behavior.
What is the difference between regular obedience training and behavior modification?
In obedience, your dog to learning to listen, focus, and follow commands, regardless of what is going on in their environment. For dogs with challenging behavior, they are unable to focus and display extreme responses, like lunging on leash at another dog. This can result unwanted behavior for you dog.
Some of those poor choices include:
- Barking and growling at strangers
- Aggression to people and dogs
- Resource guarding
- Destructive behavior
- Self-injury
- Biting people and/or dogs
